Job Description
The AIA Carnival is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team to design and execute the marketing strategy for our socially impactful community programme. Over 61 days, the community programme at the AIA Carnival will feature acts and activations by hundreds of community partners from a variety of pillars including Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Health and Wellness, Education and NGO’s. The ideal candidate will ensure the success of our event by capturing the meaningful stories from the stage and sharing them with the public to boost our brand. This is a full-time short-term position from October 2024 - March 2025.
Contract Duration: ASAP 2024 – March 2025
Community Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
Conceptualise and execute a marketing campaign for the AIA Carnival Community Arena in alignment with our larger brand and event marketing strategies.
Direct the content team to capture our Community Partners’ experiences, before, during, and after participation at the event.
Write marketing materials in English and Chinese for the website, EDMs, social media, and other channels
Manage digital and social media platforms including development, maintenance, and scheduling of content calendar
Manage and execute onsite event marketing initiatives aligned with the marketing strategy
Analyse and report on marketing performance across different platforms
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including marketing department, content creation team, designers, community partners, and senior management) to ensure marketing initiatives are executed on time, in budget, and on brand
Handle ad hoc duties and special projects assigned by managers
Requirements:
Positive attitude, self-driven, and adaptable in fast-paced situations
Proficient in spoken and written English and Traditional Chinese
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
A keen eye for detail, initiative and proactive organisational skills
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline
Flexibility to work outside of office hours to support events as required
2-5 years of experience – candidates with slightly more or less experience may be considered for other roles
