About GCEG: As a subsidiary of the Great Entertainment Group, GCEG was set up to produce the AIA Carnival; one of the most anticipated and celebrated annual events in Hong Kong, offering a unique combination of entertainment, culture, and culinary experiences.

Contract Duration: November 2024 to February 2025

Working Hours:

· November 1 – December 17, 2024: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM

· December 18, 2024 – February 16, 2025: Monday to Sunday (including public holidays and weekends), 11 AM to 11 PM (one rest day per week)

· February 17 – February 28, 2025: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in the recruitment process by providing reports on applications, entering data, and screening applications.

· Prepare employee salaries monthly using payroll software and collaborate with the HR team.

· Generate relevant reports from payroll software for management use.

· Enter new employee data in the payroll database and ensure that any changes are updated promptly.

· Ensure timely execution of payroll processes and suggest improvements as needed.

· Resolve payroll discrepancies and provide updated reports to the Manager.

· Assist the Payroll Manager with assigned tasks within the HR Department.

· Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Diploma or above in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

· At least 2 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits (C&B) or payroll.

· Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Word.

· Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

· Flexibility to work outside of office hours as needed for the event.

· Quick learner, proactive in asking questions and learning on the job.
