We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to drive sponsorship and partnership sales across multiple events, helping to maximize revenue, enhance brand visibility, and create unique sponsorship opportunities.


Job Overview:
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of multiple major events by securing sponsorships and partnerships. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing a diverse sales pipeline, and closing deals with sponsors across various events. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual with a passion for entertainment, exceptional sales skills, and strong relationship-building capabilities. It will also benefit someone with a team first attitude and someone who has the desire to coach and train junior members of the sales team.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Generation:

·Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to secure sponsorships and partnerships across The Great Entertainment Group’s event portfolio, including the AIA Carnival, Cirque du Soleil and more.
·Approach potential sponsors with tailored pitches and proposals, aligning sponsorship opportunities with each event’s unique brand and audience.
·Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, prospecting and qualifying leads to achieve and exceed revenue targets across multiple events.
·Deliver high-quality sales decks and proposals, adapting to the needs and goals of diverse clients.


Client Management and Relationship Building:

·Establish and maintain strong relationships with sponsors and partners, ensuring exceptional client service and fostering long-term partnerships.
·Collaborate with event and marketing teams to integrate sponsorship activations into each event, ensuring seamless execution and maximum impact.
·Proactively identify opportunities to enhance sponsor satisfaction and add value to their experience across multiple events.


Market Research and Strategic Planning:

·Conduct in-depth market research to identify sponsorship trends, competitive positioning, and potential opportunities across diverse event types.
·Stay informed on industry developments and competitors to craft innovative, competitive sponsorship packages for each event.
·Leverage knowledge of each event’s audience and brand to tailor sales approaches and maximize client alignment.


Promotions and Marketing Support:

·Work closely with the marketing teams for each event to design promotional campaigns that leverage sponsor assets and enhance brand visibility.
·Collaborate with partners and sponsors to maximize the reach and impact of co-branded marketing efforts across digital, social media, and onsite channels.


Financial and Performance Management:

·Monitor and manage sales budgets, track revenue performance, and provide accurate financial forecasts for each event’s sponsorship sales.
·Ensure all sponsorship agreements meet financial goals and contribute to the overall success of The Great Entertainment Group.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

·Track and analyze sales performance across events, using data to assess campaign effectiveness, sponsor satisfaction, and areas for improvement.
·Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, sharing insights, achievements, and opportunities for growth.


Qualifications:

·Proven experience in sales, business development, or sponsorship sales within the events, entertainment, or cultural sectors.
·Familiarity with Hong Kong’s market dynamics and culture; understanding of global entertainment trends is a plus.
·Strong negotiation, presentation, and contract management skills.
·Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively across various events and teams.
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive, goal-oriented approach.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Monday.com software is beneficial.
·Cantonese and Mandarin language skills are an advantage.
