Job Description
With an exciting line-up of new and returning events, we are rapidly expanding our team to support our growing calendar. As we scale, we are seeking a hands-on and meticulous Database Manager to join our dynamic Commercial Partnerships team. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the CRM system and database including the commercial reporting and tracking processes in support of achieving overall event partnership targets.
This role will see you driving success in a competitive and dynamic industry where your database management and organisational skills can make a real impact. Reporting to the Projects & Partnerships Marketing Director, your primary goal will be to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and comprehensiveness across all CRM, and commercial partnership database and reporting functions.
Hands-on management of the CRM system, partner database, and B2B mailing list, including data entry and administrative tasks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and effective commercial operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new reporting and data management processes as required to streamline operations and enhance team productivity.
Research and gather new company and contact information to expand and enhance the database.
Create and deliver B2B communications to the B2B mailing list to nurture client relationships and drive inbound leads.
Evaluate and recommend innovative methods for data collection, management, and B2B communications, exploring the potential integration of AI technologies.
Collaborate closely with the Projects & Partnerships Marketing Director and the entire commercial team to support partnership outreach, lead generation, and maintain accurate tracking of partnership deals and related information.
Prepare sales reports, presentations, and proposals to support the sales process and partnership negotiations.
As required, manage communication with partners, clients, and stakeholders to address enquiries, provide information, and maintain strong relationships.
Assist in organising partnership events and meetings as required.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes and efficiency within the Partnerships Team.
Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and partner activations to support the identification of new partner opportunities
Handle ad hoc duties and special projects assigned by managers
Requirements:
Proven experience in hands-on database management, preferably in a commercial or partnerships environment, with strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and database management tools, preferably Monday.com, with a keen eye for detail in data entry operations.
Experience in B2B communications and lead nurturing strategies.
Familiarity with AI tools and their potential applications in data management would be advantageous.
Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks, and effective time management
Reliable, responsible, yet can work in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Proficient written and spoken English and Traditional Chinese (Simplified Chinese will be a benefit)
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline
Flexibility to work outside of office hours to support events as required
